With thousands of hand-painted, Italian-made miniatures of people & animals, and hundreds of buildings and accessories — artistic and devotional scenes are created of Bethlehem, Nazareth and Jerusalem. With remarkable Biblical accuracy, and exquisite details, the interior exhibits depict “The Little Town of Bethlehem”, wheatfields, vineyards, olive trees, shepherd’s pastures, lakes, workshops, and marketplaces.
The 14 Stations in miniature include:
1 The Prophets Announcement of The Messiah
2 Ruth the Moabitess & Bethlehem
3 The Annunciation
4 Visitation
5 Carpenter’s Shop
6 Census
7 Journey to Bethlehem
8 Nativity
9 Animals’ Christmas
10 Adoration of the Shepherds
11 Presentation! Purification
12 Journey of the Magi
13 Adoration of the Wise Men
14 Flight Into Egypt
In addition to The Stations, numerous religious theme trees are in evidence. Thousands and thousands of lights are featured in shrubbery which encircles the church. Lighted silhouette frames proclaim “CHRIST IS BORN”. An outdoor near-life size Fontanini Nativity scene is the exact replica of the creche figures appearing in the apartment of Pope John II, and seen in the movie “Home Alone.” The lavish decorations – one of the largest seasonal church displays in the Tn-State area, are our gift to the Lord Jesus Christ on the occasion of His Birthday.
Ideal for citizen senior groups, youth groups, Sunday School classes, Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts, and homeschoolers. Call for reservations. Persons of all denominations welcome.
